Thanks so much Vicki for your visit the pre preps had a great day making mini worm farms, and have learned so much about recycling, worm farming and native threaten earth worms. This excellent program totally had the children engaged & I would thoroughly recommend this program to any other school looking to include sustainability/geography in the school curriculum.

Our school had a ‘Wonderful’ visit from Vicki and her worms yesterday. The children enjoyed the presentation and ‘hands-on’ making their own worm farm. It was informative and Vicki is so friendly & professional. Thoroughly recommend inviting Vicki to your school and inform our children of the benefits of worms and recycling.

Hi Vicki, thank you for bringing your very well organised program to Cambridge Library. I received very positive feedback from many parents and hope that we can have you back again. Your program was well thought out and age appropriate. The children were definitely inspired towards living more sustainably.

Vicki’s presentation was educational as well as being inter-active which the children all enjoyed. The children were taught what materials were good for re-cycling and using as food in worm farms. They particularly liked the outdoor activities which were fun as they could handle the worms and smell the worm waste. The mini worm farm given to each child to take home was a great idea and a way for them and their families to get started making a worm for their gardens. Look forward to having you visit us again.

I loved how your presentation was full of information but delivered in a way that children could understand and yet you did not “dumb”it down in anyway and used correct terminology for everything. I also thought that length of the presentation was spot on- just long enough before the kids got too restless. Other points: I felt the program did inspire children towards change in sustainable living and was well priced and good value!

Hi Vicki, This is just a note to say thank you for attending Hillarys out of School Care to demonstrate the worm farm. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were able to be actively involved in constructing their own farm. The way in which you demonstrated the activity meant the children could easily understand and learn all about the worms and the farm. The children are really looking forward to your next visit.

We were all so impressed with Vicki’s program that we had to have her back again! This time we had all 3 centres combined for the activity. All the children had such a good time but more importantly they have not stop talking about their worms!
